This is a great school small classes five star teachers and staff. My children are receiving an excellent education. The teachers are all vested into each child and making each child a success. I am so happy with Christ Lutheran. My children enjoy going to school everyday and are very happy with not only the education but all the fun activities they have been able to participate in at the school. Christ Lutheran is a great community as well with rich diversity. I would recommend Christ Lutheran to any parent that wants his or her child to have a excellent learning environment with plenty of one on one attention from the teachers.
So blessed to have one of our children attending Christ Lutheran! I wish all my kids could have gone to this wonderful school. Every teacher I meet seems 100% dedicated to their students’ academic and spiritual growth. The staff are always smiling and friendly. I have met the nicest families there who genuinely care about the school and the other families at the school. Christ Lutheran is QUALITY in my opinion not quantity which is great. Kids learn things completely and effectively to build on confidently as they progress to older grades. For this I am very thankful and believe that these kids are receiving the best education possible and most importantly a love for Jesus. Christ Lutheran is doing a great job of encouraging kids in their faith during their hours at school. As opposed to when I had kids in the local public schools there is so much positive and very little “drama”. We just roll right into family time and talk about all the nice things that went on during the day all that our child learned the week’s Bible lesson her friends etc. Awesome!

Christ Lutheran School RPV is a hidden treasure! This school provides quality Christian education for its students. Class sizes are small and students are challenged academically. The school offers a safe learning environment for students in preschool through 8th grades. After school sports teams are also offered and all students have opportunities to participate. All three of my children are at the same school which is a HUGE blessing and makes my life so much easier! There are many opportunities for parents to get involved with their child’s education if they choose to do so. There is also an amazing on-site before and after school childcare for a reasonable fee.
Christ Lutheran Church and School I feel honored to be a part of this great school it is such a jewel tucked away I wish more parents in the area knew about it.
My daughter has been attending Christ Lutheran School in RPV since kindergarten; she is now in 5th grade. Every day I am content that my daughter is being cared for by very enthusiastic amazing teachers and staff that are like extended family members. This environment helps my daughter to grow spiritually as well as academically. I am extremely confident in knowing that my daughter is receiving the best possible academic spiritual and social education. My daughter is being intellectually challenged and thrives on this challenge day to day. I continue to trust in the CLS family and our faith-based school community and look forward to spending the remaining educational years of elementary and middle school with our friends at CLS. I am pleased to say my child loves Christ Lutheran School and so do I!
Love this school! The teachers and staff have made us feel at home here. Our kids love coming here and are bummed when they have to miss a day. I feel as a parent I am welcomed to come help as much or as little as I can. I love being involved in my kids academic and social life. Thankful the teachers and staff point the kids to Jesus each day.
We feel so fortunate that this private school is a very affordable option for our family since we would never consider sending our kids to the local public schools with the overcrowding weak academics & constant cuts in funding Christ Lutheran is an amazing school that offers an environment rich in academics socialization and spirituality. The administration is top-notch & forward thinking always looking for ways to improve & be a school of the 21st century. The teachers are wonderful well-educated & offer a very nurturing learning environment. Students that need to be challenged academically are given that opportunity & those that may need more assistance are helped in whichever way may benefit them. We appreciate that each student & family is a valued member of the Christ Lutheran School community & always made to feel welcome. So many extra’s that many schools do not have are offered here music computer classes Spanish hands-on science sports student council an after-school theater program many field trips and awesome class trips. Also a wonderful Parent-Teacher League open to everyone who would like to invest in making this a better school. So thankful for CLCS!
My oldest child started at Christ Lutheran as a Kindergartner and has thrived under the care of her teachers. She wakes up every day excited to start the day. She loves her teachers her principal and the students at the school. The leadership at the school is top notch and the students who graduate from Christ Lutheran go on and thrive in high school and college. Christ Lutheran believes in educating the whole child and focuses on educating children for life. If you want strong academic standards coupled with caring nurturing and spiritual growth then your search should end here. From the moment you and your family step through the door you are embraced and cared for. They are a small school (only one class per grade with a maximum of 25 in each class) and they have no intention of getting larger. This is to give each student and family individualized attention and care and to ensure that everyone who passes through their doors is a gift and therefore deserves the best possible educational experience provided. Our teachers are here because they believe in what they are doing and they believe in the school. You will not find better.
My older child attended this school from preschool through grade 8. He had a wonderful experience. The highlight of his eighth grade year was the trip to Wahington DC. We value the caring staff and Christian values that are being reinforced. My youngest will graduate from Christ Lutheran in 2015. We will be sad to move on but know that our children were more than adequately prepared for their future.
We live in the Palos Verdes School district but desire to send our child to a small school because they will have their whole life to be among the masses and just be a number. At CLS each child is loved and appreciated for the way God created them. Their academic success is encouraged as well as their spiritual and emotional growth. The teachers are very qualified the staff is friendly and caring and the principal is one of the best we have had the priviledge of encountering.
Christ Lutheran is a school that takes its mssion to heart. They really educate my child in ALL areas not just academics or faith. The art and music classes are wonderful. I love the fact that every child gets a home visit before school starts. The staff and teachers are very caring and the office really works hard to make sure that my questions are answered. This is the best kept seceret on the Penninsula!
My daughter LOVES this school. She is currently in the preschool and can’t wait until she is in the “BIG SCHOOL” She comes home happy and wanting to go back and always seems ready to learn. Teachers seem very caring and loving to my daughter and to the rest of our family. I am so pleased that she is here.
What a wonderful school! My child was a student at Christ Lutheran from K to 8th grade and was way ahead of the other students when he started high school. The school principal and teachers are experienced nurturing and highly credentialed. If you are interested in this school make an appointment to take a campus tour and review the curriculum and test scores. I’m glad we took the time to check out this awesome school.
